Prayer For Marawi

I am sad for what happens in Marawi. The Maute group of terrorists have attacked the city Marawi on Mindanao. I do not understand why. What this terrorist group does seems not logical and seems not to have any purpose. It is just a random insane act of terrorism. So many died already in just a week, most of the dead are innocent victims. Nobody understands why they are doing this. This is crazy.

Those people who died are gone forever. It is so sad that they had to die like that. I pray for their soul, and I hope the killings in Marawi will stop soon. I pity for the small kids who are trapped on this war. They are just kids, they don't deserve anything like that. I wishes everyone out there nothing but their safety, that's all I can do for all of them. We are all praying!

Lost my earphones while drinking

I am unhappy right now. I think my earphones got stolen when I left it unattended for a second. Why would anyone take somebody else's property in just one snap of hands? It is really annoying. We went to this place without expecting anything bad just to chit-chat. It is my cousin's place nearby my home. It was raining, still I went there around 3 pm.

Later, we decided to drink alcohol, not much since I cannot handle so much alcohol in my system. We had like 3 bottles of Agila already when  I noticed I don't have my earphones with me. I remember I left them outside the chair of my friend's house. I just got back to there, but I got disappointed that I couldn't find it. Somebody took it.

Since my old headset was broken, I first bought only cheap fake headsets. Those would not be a problem. But later on I've decided to buy an expensive original earphone headset. That's the one I just lost. I'm not happy right not. It seems that everything I have, I keep on losing or breaking, and there's no way I can stop it from happening. I really do hate myself sometimes for that!

Disrespectful Kid

Sometimes I have the feeling kids nowadays don't have the same repect to elders than I had when I was young. Maybe there is a lack of parent's guidance, but I feel many kids became rebellious or disrespectful towards elders. The problem is that some parents don't even care about how they're raising their kids. For instance, they send kids to school, but they don't check whether their kids are studying or just missing classes all the time. But education is very important for kids.

I recently had this encounter with a 13 years old boy: he is my first cousin, and he sent me 3 photos of him in messenger showing his middle finger. That is an indecent gesture. I wanted to tell him personally that what he did was not right, but he is in Manila. Hence I did send him a very long message. I asked him why he did it? His answer was that the photos are not meant for me, but for his enemy in Facebook and that he sent them wrongly. I told him that not to do it again, as it is bad. Sigh, I hope he'd not be the same as his father.

We live not to please anyone

We don't live our life everyday to please anyone,  If some people don't like you for being you, then that's their problem, not yours anymore. As long as you don't give them reasons to dislike you, it is okay to let them hate you.

It's really no problem to hear bad rumors about you from people who you barely sees and know. They are good at making up stories, they never care whether it is true or not. You just ignore them and don't let them affect you.

Sometimes we need to learn how to accept things in a nice way. We can't get mad over all disappointments, since not everything we desire can be given to us. I'm only a human. I'm not someone who have any magic to give you what you asked for. Honestly I'm also someone who happens to be just like you, I don't get anything for free. And I work for my living, it may be not a heavy work, but still I call it a job.

Skin whitening

One time during our class in "CRM", our instructor mentioned that whitening soap isn't effective. He told us that the cosmetics marketing is often a lie, and that we should not believe that soap can make our skin lighter. He said we are only wasting money by buying whitening soap. Instead of buying those things, he said, we should try baking soda, and mix it with lemon to apply on our skin. That's a natural way to whiten skin without chemistry. Baking soda costs only 20 PHP while soap costs much more.

Out of curiosity, I tried it once. It does have some effect on the skin, not sure whether it is healthy or not. However, the best is if you are just happy with your skin tone. Then you need neither of those. I know dark people want to have white skin and white people think that dark skin is beautiful. Why cannot everybody be just happy with his/her current skin tone? Keep in mind, you are beautiful the way how you are! No need for change!

Stupidity

I am wandering hungry and dizzy through the streets. How come this had to happen to me? I feel like I am one of these homeless people at the street right now. The money I have with me are just coins, not enough for bread or water. I am saving the coins for my transport back to my boarding house. I feel so weak, and thirsty, I haven't eaten since last night. I wouldn't be in this situation if my bank account didn't got closed.

My class for today starts at 4:30pm, so I went out around 12:00 noon to go to the ATM to withdraw some cash so I can buy some food. I should have my salary coming into my account. But I got disappointed as the machine did not give me any money. I tried three times, but it said my card is no longer usable. As far as I remember, I still had balance left on my card the last time I used the ATM. How come they closed my card? Was the balance too low? But there is money coming, what will happen to that transaction if the bank account is closed. Lots of worries. This is the first time it ever happened to me. I must really learn from this experience. Maybe I did not pay enough attention to the minimum balance required in my account. There's no one to blame but myself because I put up myself to this. I am the one that brought bad luck to myself. I hope I can solve this somehow.

Corrupt police

Is it only in the Philippines where policemen known for being good for nothing? You always hear awful things what many policemen do. Just like what happened in Camp Crame: a wealthy Korean was murdered by policemen. According to the news, the Korean guy was kidnapped for ransom. I heard that the poor guy have given around 50 million Peso to the policemen already, and again they demanded for some more. When the Korean didn't give in, he was abducted and being brought to the camp. They cremated his body, and his ashes was flashed in the toilet. And know what guys? The sad thing is these bad guys uses his golf materials for his cremation. Isn't that too much?

Nowadays people value money more than anything in the world, even dignity. What these bad policemen did had brought the good ones a bad reputation. It causes their job. I know there are so many who are good policemen, I feel pity for them, because their troops are shameful. What they did to the Korean was so cruel, after giving everything he ended up losing his life. I hope this will not happen again. Justice will be served!

To that anonymous drama queen

Some people try to be really cruel to me. I live my life thinking everything is okay. I try to be happy, try to do good in my life, and I try not to hurt anybody. I am not bad to anybody. Being happy is not easy, sometimes I fight a serious battle deep inside and then I pretend to be a strong person. Sometimes I feel weak. Somebody is trying to attack my weakness.

What happened recently was a cowardly attempt to hurt me. Somebody created a fake facebook account under wrong name and tried to spread very bad rumors about me. Those rumors are very unacceptable, inappropriate, and nothing of it is true. The language used in those rumors was very dirty, low level and full of hate. That anonymous person seems extremely jealous of my life in order to spread such rumors. Come on! How deep must somebody fall to be jealous of me? I am just a schoolgirl, trying to do good in college, that's nothing special, no reason to be jealous! Except for a person who is out of her mind! I had never imagined that somebody could hate me like that. It seems ridiculous to me. I have an idea who could be that drama queen, but I just feel pity for her.

The rumors spread among my classmates, because the drama queen added my classmates to a facebook group. Just to clarify again: nothing of what that idiot claims is true. Most of my classmates are very smart, certainly smart enough to recognize that this is just bullshit talk from a hater. Why would they believe somebody who obviously uses a wrong name in facebook? After all, we get a good education in ACLC college, therefore we can distinguish between nonsense text written in facebook by a cowardly pathetic looser who is hiding her face, and the real me that you can meet face to face attending college every day. And if one of my classmates really believes that nonsense, oh well, that's then just stupid and she should know better. But I am lucky, most of my classmates are smarter than that.

Did all this affect me? Well, yes, I am weak, I find the entire situation embarrasing. I think everybody would feel like that. I do not think I deserve this. But at the end, I think I am okay but there must be something deeply wrong with that sick person who has nothing good in her life except spreading false rumors. This is sad for me, but much more sad for her. We should have pity with that poor drama queen!

Suicidal

I think only coward or losers do give up with life too quickly. Just because there's something wrong with you, it doesn't mean you should end your life. No matter what problem or type of life you're in, you can always do something better for yourself.

You should never think you cannot do anything useful, not just for yourself but also for your loved ones. We can do anything, all it takes is courage to build it up. Be positive on things, and good things will come to you in the right time! Never stop believing that one day you can achieve your goals!

A person with dreams would never stop working for his/her dreams. Dreaming is actually good, but what is bad is when you dreams without doing anything. If your past wasn't that awesome, then forget about it, and start making a new one! Build yourself again, and be eager to get what you really deserve!

Cellphone in school

Nowadays students don't know the word respect anymore. I think, as a student, you need to follow and respect your instructor. That's how it was when I first came to school: the teachers might be bad or good in your eyes, but in any case they must be respected. Maybe I am sometimes disrespectful to others, but I would never disrespect my instructors.

At my school, I have few classmates who don't seems to respect instructor, which is not right. I don't think it is proper for student to keep texting inside the classroom, and when they got caught by the instructor and get asked to hand over the phone, they will just throw the phone to the teacher instead of handing is properly. I don't think any students should talk inappropriately towards their teacher during classes or even outside the classroom. I am addicted to my cellphone, but I don't use my phone during classes. Well, outside school, I might be obsessed with my phone for facebook and blogs, but I only use my mobile when the subject is over.

Girls fights

A guy should never interfere with a girls fight. What I mean here is the physical violence. It is not cool that girls fight, but it is even less cool for any guy to climb in a boxing ring with angry girls. Just for example: When you see your girl, or your sister or any female relatives having a fight with someone, the first thing that you must do is to stop them, best by using words to calm them down. Do not use physical force. It's not proper for a guy to hit a girl. No matter what it is the two girls are fighting, you must calm them down.

I've seen this happen, that boyfriends hit girls because they were mad at his girlfriend. Not to me but to others around me. Sometimes I may be sounds like I am a warfreak, but in real I am not. So this is not about me.

To the dumbs

Intelligent people don't go out there claiming that they are. Because they're very smart and they know that bragging doesn't take them anywhere. So why would someone like you who is not that intelligent brag so much about how intelligent you are?

That's just nonsense and funny!

Backtalkers

I hate it when a group of morons are talking nonsense againts me. Knowing they are also relatives making my head burst into madness. Why can't they seal their mouths if nothing good comes out. I mean I would let you guys hate me if I really made a huge mistake. But I didn't. They act like they are victim, when the truth is that I am victim of their bullshit. Sad but true!

Why can't we just all get along and stop the hate. I'm being quiet. But you guys seems to talk trash againts me everytime. I used to be nice, and I've been a true cousin to the rest of you but it seems like I wasn't. Why can't we just be happy? I'm tired of all the hating you guys are given me. Please stop!

I can speak Tagalog

Somebody sents me a message telling me I'm so 'maarte' because I keep posting stuffs with English captions on it in facebook. She asked why I can't speak Tagalog? How do I respond to this kind of message? Lol. Here we go again: The reason why I use English language in most of my captions and even in some of my posts is because I have lots of friends in my facebook from different countries. Germans, Americans,Thai.etc. and not everyone of them can understand Tagalog. Some of them will actually ask me what I just said when it's written in Tagalog. So in order for everyone to understand what I'm saying, I use English as the universal language. Now if you think that's being "maarte" and "bragger" you're so wrong. English is a business language, and I am learning business in college, hence it is helpful for me to also practice it. And Tagalog is only my second language, normally I would speak Waray, not Tagalog. Hey think what you want as if I care anyway.

Why can't some people just shut their mouth? Hating anybody won't help you anything. You're only wasting time hating other people. I find it funny how you spend time minding my business. 

Unfriendly sales lady

Yesterday during my vacant time, I decided to go to town, looking around, getting inside stores. Reason: I was free for 2 hours before my next subject. I got bored staying at school without classes, so I went to town. I ate first and then went inside an accessory store just looking around, checking the stuffs I might like. When I got bored I left and headed to next store, a shoe store. I did the same thing, just looking and I had no plan to buy shoes. After a while I left, because I thought it is time for me to go back to school.

When I was walking, I saw one more store, and I thought to myself "Okay this is the very last store I'm going into for today." It was a cellphone store, I went inside, looking, checking the prizes of the gadgets. I didn't intend to buy a phone, as I have already a cellphone. Suddenly two salesladies approached me asking whether I'm buying. I said: "No, not for now, because I'm just looking at the moment." I asked how much a phone gigabyte memory costs, but they both turned their head, giving me a not so good attitude, even they heard what I asked them. I was mad when they did that to me but I calmed myself and left.

I thought I should tell them that there is no reason to be angry at me, even when I am not buying. Honestly, if you are a sales lady, it is your duty to handle customers without being mean to them and don't expect everybody just to buy anything without making sure it's the thing they would really wanted to get.

Seen on facebook

Sometimes you can see sad videos inside facebook, taking from surveillance cameras. Somebody shared such a video in my facebook account about what happens here in the Philippines:

This video is about a guy driving a red Hyundai and a guy with his bicycle. The guy driving the car looks like he has money, and the guy on bicycle looks poor. What happened is they bumped in each other during their rides. You can see in the video that this little accident wasn't really a huge deal. Not much damage was there, maybe the car could have little scratches but it can be fixed.

The bicycle guy is trying to talk to the car's owner which is still inside the car. A few seconds have passed and then the car guy comes out and punches bicycle guy and they beat each other for couple of minutes. Then the rich guy goes back inside his car, while the poor guy stands there for a minute and then he decides to walk away. When he is about to drive his bicycle, the other guy comes out of his car with a gun and shots him twice right in the head. That's what happened.

Whoever that rich person is, he must be caught. He killed the poor guy because of his ego. He shouldn't have killed the guy. I don't know whose fault this accident was, but in any case he has no right to kill the poor guy. They should have settled things without killing with him. If you cannot control your temper, you should not driving a car. RIP to the poor guy that got killed.

Money, money, money ...

It's so annoying when someone you barely even know asks you for money. We can't let just anybody borrow money from us so quickly. I'm nice to those who are nice to me, and I trust those who trust me. But to borrow money from me is a different story. I am not rich! I barely survive with this blog job to pay my college. Why does somebody try to borrow money from me who knows me barely since just one week and who does not know anything about me?

I'm sure none of us would lend money in this situation.

The situation is this: I have classmate. Since June, we met eachother in classroom since we have a few subjects together. She is trying to borrow money from me. She has been to my place one time already, to work on our plant project together. She knows where I live while I don't know where she lives or anything else about her. Been a week, I haven't seen her around school anymore. Yesterday she texted me asking money from me because she said her money got stolen. So I replied to her saying I can't lend any money, since I have no money at all, which is the truth. I also don't know her well enough and I don't know whether she stopped school or whether I ever see her again. So, that's what happened yesterday. It's crazy, people who barely know me seem to think I am rich because I can pay my college, but no, I am not rich and it is very hard for me to pay my college.

Terrorists

Another terrorist bombing in Pakistan targeting Christian women and children at an open market on Easter Sunday. 69 dead 400 wounded. It looks like we are already in World War 3 and they are winning the war. Time to get serious and finish it!

Those who are in the higher position must do some action against these Muslim terrorists. We cannot just sit in one place waiting for these people to attack our country. Every leader of each country needs to be aware and think wisely about solutions so that these Muslim terrorist cannot get through to our country.

We do not want any of us get killed by them, and we cannot let them ruin any of our malls or our airports. We all know that they are targeting places with crowded people for their bombings. How awful! These kind of people should not be existing on this planet. But they exists anyway. Now all we need to do is to be aware of these Muslim terrorist.

We all know they have been attacking Europe, that is, Paris and Belgium. Europe must make some move so that they can prevent these terrorist from bombing their country. And the same holds for all countries. I don't know what's with these terrorist, they seem insane in their mind. No reasonable person can understand their motivation. What they do is not justified by Islam. It is not justified by anything. At the end all we can do is to pray that their aweful things do not to happen to us.

Gossip

Some people talk so much about other people lives without even figuring out how to live their own life. That is the problem with those gossipers. I don't understand why they even take any effort minding other people business.

To the gossipers: Let me ask you what do you get from gossiping? Does that bring anything good to you? Does that keep you from surviving? Well I guess so, because there you are still living. The problem with you all is when you get confronted you are suddenly silent and don't dare to talk. Know why? Because you know that all what you do is spreading lies, making up untruthful stories just to have some things to talk about the person.

It's funny how some people are. They'd talk bad things about you without even knowing your name. Maybe they think they know a name but what if it's not really your real name? In my opinion I'd rather keep my mouth shut because I'm sure gossiping won't make me successful at the end. It will only get you in trouble, remember: Karma doesn't sleep it is just keeping an eye on you when to have it.

So if you have nothing good to say about someone who isn't bothering your life at all, better to shut up! That is the best thing to do. Don't let your unstoppable tongue mock someone who does nothing to you!

Birthday Fighting

Last night's birthday party was a disaster! Last night was Jessa's brother's birthday party and I'd thought it would go so well but I was wrong. At the beginning, yes, it was fun. Everyone enjoyed drinking and even singing. But suddenly Jessa's eldest brother and his wife had a little misunderstanding, so the two ended up fighting downstairs at the basement of their house where they are living. They didn't stop fighting and they even shouted to each other. When it was too loud, one guy was just trying to help and went downstairs to calm them down so that they would stop fighting. Then it suddenly happened: When he was about to speak, Jessa's brother punched him right on the face and everything went crazy. I heard they were friends and works at the same company and that mon happened to be one of the visitors. Next time I hope he doesn't get himself involve to anybody's business for his own sake. I think Jessa's brother did punched him because he was out of control and didn't want anyone to mind their business because I believe it's a couple fight it must be the two of them are the only involved. It is was personal between them. I feel sorry for the guy and to the birthday celebrant even though he got a memorable birthday celebration this year. Hope it won't happen again next time.
