Dinosaurs

I don't think we would be still in this world if dinosaurs were still alive. We are lucky that dinosaurs don't live on our planet anymore, and I can give some funny reasons why it's good that dinosaurs are no longer alive:

If dinosaurs were alive I wouldn't be here writing this topic.
If dinosaurs were alive I don't think we would be able to have our freedom like what we do right now. We would maybe die sooner because of hunger if we were hiding just to avoid being seen or eaten by dinosaur.
If dinosaurs were still alive there would be no dinosaur gadgets or dinosaur toys.
There would be no internet connection. We wouldn't post on Facebook or any other social networking if dinosaurs were alive. Just assume dinosaurs were still alive today, they would be so smart that they could read our Facebook status and location and then come and eat us.
We wouldn't be watching 'Jurassic Park' or 'Jurassic World' if dinosaurs were alive, and all those movie actors in those movie would be without job.
I don't think we would be what we are right now if dinosaurs were still alive.

It's good that dinosaurs are no longer alive so we have the freedom to do everything what we want. And sometimes I just want to watch dinosaur movies. ☺☺☺

I love animals

I prefer if animals are loved and not been eaten by any of us. I know it is not always possible, but we should always remember that animals love their life as we love ours.

In my province, fishing is one common business. Fishermen make their profit from selling fish, and we use fishes to make tasty dishes. One time when I was younger, when the fishermen from my place arrived at the port from their fishing trip, I came to the beach and saw that they got a big sea turtle in their nets. I asked them what they would do with it and they told me that they are going to kill it and cook it. Some times later, when the fishermen were about to kill the turtle, the poor creature cried and I saw it in its eyes and I felt like it wanted to be alive and be back to the sea. But I could not do anything to save the turtle. At that time, I wished I had money; maybe they would let me buy the turtle so I let it swim back into the sea. I know animals has similar feelings as we have. We should appreciate them and don't hurt them if they don't hurt you.

My sweet, loving and caring cousin.

Her name is Venus and she's my cousin but she is for me more like a sister than a cousin. I feel for her the same as for my girl friends who I live with. She is the nicest cousin I have and we never got into arguments or fights with each other. She is a very understanding person. Whenever I need an advice, she is there for me. When I am undecisive, she tells me what I should do or not do, and her advice is always good for me.

She is not selfish with anything. She is such a loving and caring person, a great daughter to her parents and a great sister to her brother and sisters. We are the same situation: she is a breadwinner for her family, similar as I am for mine, although she is not studying as I am. She is hard working person. I miss her as I haven't seen her since May this year. It's been only two months but it feels like years since I've seen her. I remember the last time we hang out and drink some beers and talk about each other's lives and suddenly tears falling out our eyes. I wanted to feel that way again. She is the one who understands me, even when my friends don't. I love her as a real sister and a family, and no matter how old I get I will never forget her.

Working student

Being a college working student is not so easy for me. I have to be patient with everything. I have to get up early in the morning, cook, eat, shower, and prepare my stuff for school. That's my routine every morning. But what is so hard for me: in order to be able to go to school everyday, I also work in the evening and write blogs to make enough money. That's all because of my needs for school and for my family. Sometimes I feel like giving up and want to get depressed, but after thinking too much I just exhale and forget all the problems I am facing to avoid depression.

I believe education is the best for all of us especially for poor people like me, because education helps to have a better life. No matter what you are into or been trough, always stay positive, be happy and be thankful that you can still go to school no matter how your situation is. That's what i do. :-)

Places to visit in the Philippines

The Philippines might be a poor country but it is very rich in natures and tourist spots. Here are list of tourist spots you might want to visit someday: Boracay, Banaue Rice Terraces, Malapascua Island, Fort Santiago, Chocolate Hills, Taal Volcano, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, National Museum of the Philippines, Mactan, Burnham Park, Pagsanjan Falls, Tinago Falls, Taal Lake, Mount Pinatubo, Hundred Islands National Park, Honda Bay, Coron Island, Wright Park, Palawan. These are a list of tourist spots that I know that the Philippines have, but I have visited only few of them.

Going to a breathtaking place is like you're in heaven. That's how I felt when I got to Boracay. As a first time in Boracay, I found the place very captivating. There are a lot of activities, great foods and, if you prefer sea food, it is fresh from the sea, Boracay has a very nice white beach in front of the hotel and that's one of the greatest things I experienced in my entire life.

Someday somehow I might go to one of the other places I've written above. That's my dream.

Girl friends

Real friends are not easy to find but I did find them anyway. I have only few friends, I live together with two of them and I call them my girl friends. We do understand each other most of the time, we help each other, and we love each other like a real family. We are living all together. I would say living with them isn't always that easy. There are also times we fight and end up hating each other. But it lasts only for a few days and later on we get our disagreement fixed and get back being together. There's also time when I'm having problems and they never let me down, instead they hug me and tells me to be strong. Being with them I feel like I found sisters in them. It's true because I never had the chance to have a real sister in my family. My friends are special to me. I don't know what i would do without them.

My advice once you thought you found a real friend never lose her trust, appreciate her and be true to her and you'll end up being with her for long time. I'm just so blessed to have real friends like them!

About myself

I come from a broken and very poor family. My mom left us when I was 15 years old. Luckily, my dad took good care of us when I was that age until I left my hometown. I am thankful for having a father like him. I love my dad.

I have 3 brothers. I am the eldest, and as eldest daughter, being the breadwinner of the family, I have to be smart and think of something helpful for the sake of my family, As soon as I turned 16, I left my hometown and came to Manila into my auntie's house. I stayed there for a week, and later on, they found a job for me as i asked them, My job was being a maid in another family. I liked that I got monthly to provide my needs and my family's needs. I was thankful that I am able to help my family.

Even until now, I never stop helping them. I love my family no matter what and I will do anything just for them to be taking care of by me. That's my duty as a daughter and a sister to my 3 brothers. I love my family specially my mom. I really miss her so much. I just hope she still remember us wherever she is. I love her because I wouldn't be here in this world if it's not because of her.

My review of the movie "Lucy"

"Lucy" is another SciFi Action movie that I have seen a while ago. The story is about a young woman who is used as a drug mule to transport a new drug to different countries. A drug bag in her abdomen breaks, and as consequence she obtains supernatural powers and nearly infinite knowledge.

Overall I have a mixed feeling about that movie. I like when a simple Lucy turns into a badass Lucy who kills her captors that want to force her into drug trafficing. She can fight without getting herself hurt, due to the drug. I also like when she got to see different places and countries.

But there are also some points that I did not like: The movie wasn't that great as it was in the trailer. The trailer sets the expectations high and the movie cannot hold all expectations. Also, the movie was relatively short. And finally, I did not like the part that her boyfriend got killed because of her.

Why I like the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy"

From the movies that I have seen in 2015, I liked "Guardians of the Galaxy" most. Here are my reasons:

The movie was great and it is Scifi and Action, and I like Scifi Action movies in general. The movie was breathtaking indeed, and it had some funny scenes.

I love all the characters of the movie. In particular, Chris Pratt as "Peter Quill/Star Lord" looked so manly, charming and funny. Zoe Saldana as "Gamora" looked so strong but sexy, and I like the way Gamora fight and beat her enemy. I'm a fan of Dave Bautista (he played "Drax the Destroyer") because he has filipino blood. I like how Rocket Raccoon (actor Bradley Cooper) fights.
